Scout Camp

Hey all. As it looks, no one really wants to see pictures of me, just Shelyn, but I will still put up my own pictures so I can feel good about myself. This was taken in early June when our group went to the Forks Campground in Kananaskis. Beautiful weather, good kids; fun times.

29 weeks and counting...

This baby has its own weather system! It's huge!

When Shelyn was starting to show, people were uneasy when asking if she was pregnant, (it can get messy if you ask someone who isn't...), now we have a new predicament. People ask her if she is having twins, which in my opinion, is just as dangerous. I guess the baby just rides a little higher so Shelyn's belly sticks out a bit more.

We are excited for li'l Skeletor (that's what the ultrasound made the baby look like). It won't be much longer now...

Sweet lookin' bellies

We have a few pictures taken by Grandma Deyholos. In this photo, as you can see, my belly is much larger than Shelyn's; this is due to a phenomenon known as flaboandrosis - fat man syndrome. As men try to keep up with their feminine counterparts, a large belly, or "spare tire" develops.

In this picture, Shelyn is about 6 months pregnant, just starting her third trimester. Shelyn's dad just packed up all of their remaining stuff into the trailer behind us, before leaving Canada one last time en route to Alpine, Wyoming.

We have started our blog!

Hello family,
This is our attempt to keep those living far away in touch with what's going on at our house. We are living in Calgary while I am going to school (one year left...w00t), and Shelyn is expecting kid #1. S/he is due August 26th, and we are pretty excited.

We will try to update this blog every so often, so please check back and see how we are doing. We'll post pictures as well. Feel free to leave comments!
